Device: kindle 3
preserving metadata on kindle 3

i have changed details in calibre to an ebook.once imported onto the kindle 3 ,it shows the old data not the new edited data ?

do i need to add the meta data along with the mobi file .

though i am using the send to device tab in calibre to do this.

ps if thids ahs been requested before please point me in the right direction.

Hi hilty
1. what's the format(s) of the book which metadata you're changing ?
2. If it's mobi, and you change metadata, you have to convert the book to mobi again to get the new metadata included. ( even if it's mobi to mobi )
