Kindle PW1 Reset Device option-What it does
Hi
I have Kindle PW1 still functioning very well for the past 7 years I had a questions as to what does the Reset Device option do although it gives a warning all content will be deleted 1. The device is jailbroken-Will the reset un jailbreak it 2. I have also installed KOreader but it is very slow and has not worked well--Will this reset also delete this installation 3. What level is the device restored to after a reset Thanks Ninad |

Read the first post in this thread:
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=320564 especially the bottom of the first post. Bottom line: Reset does remove jailbreak. If you have the most recent hotfix installed before the reset, the jailbreak can be restored, but with some work. |
