Kindle 2 Display/Screen - Plastic Backed?

Hello!

Newbie here - searched for this info but could not find -

Anyone know if the Kindle 2 display is plastic-backed or glass-backed?

TIA!

Hi KindleKitten!

Read in a thread, which I can no longer locate, that plastic-backed screens were more durable than glass-backed, and since Kindle2 is high on my list of preferred devices, my inquiring mind wants to know!

All current 6" EInk devices use the same glass screen.
