For a variation on the no sound theme - is there a way to turn off the sound at start-up? I can't figure out how to mute it.

Just an update: I emailed Darrell (ddiljohn@kobo.com) on Friday, he replied Friday night, but I didn't read the email until Saturday am. I replied to him, and he contacted me on Saturday and took over my 'case'. I'm returning my current Vox tomorrow and they are mailing me a new one. He and his colleague (who emailed me a Fedex label) went out of their way - and on the weekend - to fix the problem. Thank you again for the referral Cdesja5; and thank you to Darrell and his colleague.
