Sony PRS-505 for Christmas

So I'm pretty sure my husband bought me the Sony 505 for Christmas. What do I need to download, order and/or purchase so that I can take full advantage of the e-reader's potential. Any recommendations on accessories, e-book stores etc would be greatly appreciated.

Hi gennatay and welcome to the Forum. Once you load the Sony eBook Library software on your computer, you can start downloading books from the Sony site. Then go to the Wiki here (https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/E-book_stores) and you'll find other sources for books. Also, you can download a ton of free books for the Sony from the Forum here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=126

And, when you establish your account in your eBook Library, be sure and check the box that lets you accept Sony eMails as this is a great source for free and discoiunted books. Also, check out the freebies section here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=26

Be sure and let us know how you like your Sony once you have your hands on it
