I just finished The Thirty-Nine Steps. Those who haven't read it yet are in for a treat! It's a real page-turner!

Spoiler:
It's 160 pages.

OK, let's start the discussion!

Damn, I opened that Spoiler and now you've completely ruined my reading experience.

I really was planning on reading this month's selection too.

I've just uploaded epub and mobipocket/kindle versions to Mobileread. These are using HarryT's text (which should be excellent), with curly quotes added, and simply formatted, with TOC.

That was very nice of you to do for us. Thank you, pdurrant!

I'm going to start with the audio version from librivox until I can read the epub. Thank you, again (and HarryT for the base text).

Nope, not just you. I don't see one either.

I didn't even check until you mentioned it. Since I wasn't going to start with the epub, I was going to wait to download it.

Nor here, but you can still download the Richard Hannay Omnibus.prc that was uploaded by HarryT. The first story is The Thirty Nine Steps by John Buchan.

I was able to d/l The Thirty-Nine Steps in epub from Feedbooks. It's relatively plain in format (No curly quotes, no drop caps, no offers for a luxury room in Cancun for only $39.99 per day), butr not too hard on the eyes and psyche.

Well, not forgot, exactly. I definitely tried to upload them. But I did forget to make sure that they'd actually made it. They're both there now.

I did take a look at the contents of the ePub and noticed that the CSS has definitions for fonts that are not part of the ePub. Can we get the version that actually has those fonts?

No, that's just because I took the CSS defintions from somewhere else and didn't bother removing the unused stuff.
