I was thinking that as well, but figured it had to because they only deal with English libraries?

Well, our Swedish eLibrary is not an Overdrive library, so they have no clue what we download here. I'm guessing that goes for other languages/countries as well.

That's certainly a possibility. I am rather surprised, though, that Overdrive doesn't seem to deal with non-English books. They're missing out on a large market (eg in Western Europe) by not doing so.

Not to mention Asia I would assume there are a lot of people reading, even if it's 1 in 10, it's still a huge chunk of the population

Isn't that simply because baseball isn't really played much outside North America? It's not like the "World Cups" of football (soccer), rugby, cricket, etc, which genuinely are world-wide events.

Isn't/wasn't the World Series of baseball named after a newspaper (The World presumably), hence the rather grand sounding and misleading name?
