Ed McBain's wonderful "87th Precinct" series of police procedurals have just (today) been released in the UK at the excellent price of £1.99 each (that's their Amazon price, at least). A real bargain.

It's very good to see back catalogue ebooks at a sensible price.

But I'm not buying any of them this year!

Only about a third the series is available so far. Hopefully the others will follow.

They were on sale last year on Amazon US for $1 each for most and a few not on Kindle. This is last years Jan 2012 list. Things have changed since then, most are now $5 each.
