Supplementary English dictionaries for Kindle

I am very pleased with the Oxford dictionaries that come wit the Kindle, but occasionally I come across words that are not included, or would simply like a different perspective. I am somewhat of a word nerd, and enjoy looking up words, even words that I know, for nuances I may be unaware of and for etymologies. Thus, I have been considering the other major dictionaries available for the Kindle. In particular, I have read reviews for the Essential American Heritage Dictionary and Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary. I have the 3rd Edition of the American Heritage Dictionary and really love it. However, I have heard that the 5th edition, especially the Kindle version, includes less complete definitions that before. Has anyone here purchased other major English dictionaries for the Kindle PW or earlier readers? If so how useful have they been to you in comparison to the Oxford editions that are included as default?

The Oxford dictionary I use on my K3 often has etymologies. You have to click on the return key to see the whole page to see it though, just like the pronunciation, expanded definition, etc.

Thank you, but I do know this. I like the Oxford very much, but am interested in finding a second dictionary of similar size and scope to the Oxford to use a supplement or backup.
