Image and Chapters
I've got a book that I want to use Images as a Chapter heading, but I don't know how to insert the image into the html code correctly.
Please help!! Thanks alot!! |

Try: <img src="../Images/<filename>" />
If you also want a header for the TOC, you could do: <h2 class="nodisplay">Headertitle</h2> and then in the CSS: h2 { display: none; } |

I assume the dots mean a path, but what would be the full path, or does that tell them to look at the epub container?

The '../' means look up a level, directory wise, then followed by the 'Images/' means to look in that sub-directory, for the <filename>.
When using Sigil, you need the ../ as the files are arranged into subfolders determined by their types, Images|Text|Styles etc. Sigil automagically arranges them and alters corresponding paths etc. for you. Last edited by Perkin; 02-17-2011 at 03:15 PM. |
