Has any had this freezing issue?

Today (while in class working on important notes for a test!) my edge froze totally. Both LCD and E-ink were totally non-responsive and I ended up rebooting. The edge shut down with the journal I was working on still imaged on the e-ink (as if I had removed the battery) I restarted and the page changed to the last PDF I had been viewing. I reopened the journal, the page of notes I had been on was lost (although the journal itself was still there). I started to rewrite the missing notes and the edge spontaneously rebooted. Can you advise, this is a crucial time in classes as we are about to take the first set of tests in a 12 week summer semester. I need reliable performance. Help please.

Cute. I was looking for anyone who may have experienced the issue to assist tech support.

I've seen it lock up once before the May software update, but kicking out the battery fixed it and it did not repeat itself.

Thanks for the replies, if tech support hears/reads more reports maybe they can track down the problem.
