Converted ePUB rejected by Google Play Books

It's rare but there's something wrong with this ePub to ePub conversion.
I just downloaded the metadata and changed some fields. The converted ePub is still readable by the built-in Calibre reader and iBooks but rejected by the Google Play Books after uploaded. The EPUB Validator detects a bunch of errors compared with the original one. All the errors follow the similar format below.

ERROR OEBPS/Hear_9780345522535_epub_ack_r1.htm 5 88 attribute "value" not allowed here; expected attribute "content", "dir", "http-equiv", "lang", "scheme" or "xml:lang"

Moreover, the size decreases greatly from 1.92MB to 0.4MB. Others ePub conversions do not have significant file size decrease. The conversion job details are attached as follows. I'd like to know if there's any idea to fix the conversion errors since I rely on Google Play Books to read ePubs on my tablet.

Doing a Calibre conversion of ePub > ePub especially for sale is a really bad idea.

You want HAND CRAFTED eBook for any eBooks you are going to sell. You do not want to rely on any sort of conversion. Use Calibre's eBook editor or Sigil to edit your ePub and get rid of anything that comes from a conversion. This means you might have to completely redo the entire CSS and every single class in your eBook. But that's OK. It will be a better eBook when it's done.

Google Play rejecting a book doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the book. Open your ebook in any actual epub viewer and it will be just fine.
