Using a Word format for PRS-505 question

Does any one if the table of contents feature in MS Word will behave like a table of contents (the links work in the book) when the finished book is put on the PRS-505?

Do I really have to download another software package for that?

Thanks!

Julie

Hi June,
The answer is no. Word documents are converted to RTF, this is done under the hood of the eLibrary software. RTF in the PRS505 do not support links/TOC/images.

To get the image support I recommend you convert your word document to ePUB or LRF.

Toos like BookCreator, Calibre, and BookDesigner can do this for your . Also the latest version of ePublisher will create an ePUB from a Word document.
