Spiritual Various: Bible kralicka (1613) [Czech]. V1.4 5 September 2020

This e-book contains Bible of Kralice - the first complete translation of the Bible into the Czech language from 1613.

The e-book is generated by Perl scripts from the text available on Wikisource.org. The scripts are designed to generate e-book repeatedly because the text on Wikisource is not without defects (at the time of this writing). It is easy to download corrected parts of the Bible, track the changes and rebuild the e-book again. The scripts are in a Git repository on GitLab.

The e-book is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC BY-SA 3.0) because of the source of the text.

The e-book was tested in Aldiko reader (for Android) and in Calibre (on Linux) and checked with EPUBcheck.

If the ebook contains no additional text (and if the text is indeed the 1613 edition), it should be public domain, regardless of the license for the source texts and/or the tools used to build it. That is, unless you decided to release it under some other license. What I mean is that you are not "forced" to make it CC.

Thank you for your comment. I am not an expert but I think the copyright on Wikisource covers the content - the text and the effort to digitize it. I have released the e-book under the same license because the downloaded source files are processed only by scripts, they are "transformed" into another technical format, in simple terms. This is the reason.

Changes in the version 1.1 are:

• Updated text from Wikisource.org
• A space between links to the first nine chapters of books is EM SPACE instead of EM and EN SPACEs.
• The „O této e-knize“ (About this e-book) page contains a e-book version and a timestamp of the last update on Wikisource.org used in the e-book (in the previous version both were as meta items in OPF file only).

It is usually best to make changes to the first entry for download purposes. Some won't find the latest version if it is lost in the discussion. You can rename the title to reflect the latest version as well.

Yes, I agree with you (I did so for previous versions) but this time there was no Edit option. Later I saw a message that I can’t edit posts older than 5 minutes.

In the version 1.4 they are updated the Book of Matthew and the Book of Luke from Wikisource.org.
