Proxy settings for Calibre

I use calibre behind an authenticated proxy, and the only way I can get it to work is to use the TMG client.
Is there way to either,
  • Disable Calibre from getting proxy settings IE
  • Allow Calbire to authenticate through TMG

I'm using "http_proxy" environment variable (Win)

Value: http: // your_username:your_password @ proxy_server_address : proxy_port

of course, as it is easily visible, PC must be protected in your absence

(skip extra spaces in http line above)
