Epub to Kepub

Hi!
Can anyone please explain how we can convert epub into kobo's epub. I have converted it through calibre through a plugin but when I transfer the file in my Glo HD, it doesn't appear. The calibre is of the latest version.

If you've already converted the files to kePub in Calibre so that you have both ePub and kePub versions of the files, you need to configure your Calibre so that if both versions are available it'll choose the kePub version first. To do this, when your Glo HD is connected to your computer and Calibre is running, right click on the "device" icon in the menu. Choose "Configure device" and move "kepub" up in the sort order so that it appears before "epub". Then when you transfer a book through Calibre, if there is a kePub version available, it will send that version to your Glo HD.

Alternatively, you could install the Kobo Extended Touch Drivers and set it so that when you transfer ePubs to your reader it automatically converts them to kePubs during the transfer process. Using this method, the kePub version isn't available in Calibre only on your device. (If you're interested in doing this, search this forum for instructions.)

Yes, the only automated way that I know of to produce kepubs is using the calibre plugins. You can do it manually, but that is a lot of work.

If the books are not appearing in the library, there is another problem. dordale has some suggestions as to why. If they are OK, have you checked that the book is actually copied to the device? Does the processing screen get displayed when the device is disconnected? And does the progress go all the way across?
