I also have a colleague with a Kobo who might be persuaded to come along for coffee. (But act soon... she's retiring in 2 months :-)

The chances are SLIM but I'm gonna try anyways
I would like to see any e-reader at all to get a notion of what I can expect.
Would be great if it could be one that supports epub (since I got alot of those).
I live in Lund, Sweden and could easily go to say Malmö.

eInk Reader 9+'' screen

Now this is a fabulous idea!

Living in the middle of nowhere between Hamburg and Luebeck in Germany, I don't expect anybody to be right around the corner, but I could go to Hamburg, Luebeck and the smaller communities wedged b/n them...

Anybody out there?

Heh, this thread was a good idea that doesn't seem to have amounted to much. If anyone wants to buy me lunch in NE Ohio, I'd be willing to show off my Nook Color, dual-booting Barnes & Noble's latest stock OS and CyanogenMod 7, an Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 build that runs off a microSD card without rooting or otherwise affecting your warranty. Just shoot me a PM.

I'm not sure if any moderators are keeping an eye on this, but... how about renaming it "See a device OR COVER in a café near you"? There may be people who are keen to see (say) the Kindle lighted cover, rather than the Kindle per se, or to check out what one of the tooled leather covers by Oberon looks like :-)

Here is Hamburg as well. I already own Iliad and would really love to see some PocketBook or newer Kindle in Action. Greetings.

Hey there, don't know if there's anyone interested in seeing a Kindle around Loulé, Faro, Quarteira or nearby but I'm offering to show it off. I know I would've liked I had the opportunity to see one in action before buying it. It also has Duokan installed if you want to see the alternative OS too

Now as for me, I would like to see any 9" e-reader, Pocketbook Pro 902/903, Onyx M91S/M90, or any other one.

Also if you have any e-reader (or just want to see how a dedicated reader is) and just want to share experiences and meetup I would gladly do that too
