Okay, I ran 7zip again. I didn't realize that "Decline" meant decline, one after another, all of the ancillary offers. I thought it meant decline terms of service. So I installed it, and after some fumbling, got the book decompressed. Plato, I hope you're worth it.

I've been using TUGzip (Windows only) for a few years and have been pleased with it. It's closed-source, and is no longer being actively worked upon by its developers, but it is freeware.
