Cannot Upgrade Past Dingo 0.19
I've run the update procedure all the way through a number of times. Every time the unit reboots I press the update button and it says there is yet another update available. I download and install that update and do it all again. Have done this too many times to count.
Very frustrating, as when I go into settings>about edge, it always states I'm running Firmware version 1.6 Kernel version 2.6.29 Build number Dingo-0.19 No matter how many times I repeat the procedure. Under edge preferences it says Current Software Version 1.6.3910.4 This never changes either. If Dingo 1.1 is available why aren't I ever getting to the point where I can install it? |

Updates involve two separate steps.
Step one is the download, which is what the initial update action does. Step two is what many people miss - actually installing the downloaded update. When the download is complete, an icon will appear in the top left corner of the LCD screen. If you press the Menu button, then "Notifications", you'll see an update is ready to install. Tap this notification to install the update. If this is not working, please contact technical support for assistance. |
