HTML-to-ePub tool that beats Calibre?

I have finally found a service that produces pretty accurate conversions of table- laden PDF's to HTML, it's online and free (pdfonline.com if anyone is interested) but now at the final step of conversion to ePub, when I use Calibre for it, the conversion of HTML to ePub is even worse than when it's done straight from pdf to epub. Lines longer than the display is the biggest problem as lines are not broken correctly to fit my nook screen. Some tables are still problematic to display but it's not as bad as it is with pdf- epub conversion.
I have also used Sigil for similar purpose to no avail, infact nook wouldn't even open that document.
I have tried the setting for page justification (left oriented, original and justify) but the problem persists. Any better options for HTML-to-ePub conversion?

Are you sure, this is a calibre problem? Does the html file have the problem already and calibre just reflects that? The lines longer than your display sounds like a problem in the html file. You might be able to counter that with your own stylesheet.

That's because it's using a lot of hard-coded divs with specific widths. it would be an FR for calibre to handle these, there was actually a discussion about doing this in another Calibre thread for a similar formatted book:

An alternate pdf converter (same div problem, but does a better job in some respects, the one you linked is a bit better in others, as the underlying html appears to be un-wrapped):
