Upload Problem

Hi there,

I am having problems uploading 3 ebooks. I have uploaded 1000+ without problem and suddenly I have 3 that are readable and fully workable in Calibre and seem to upload but when I try to open them on my Sony PRS650 I get a Page Error message. They are also the only 3 ebooks without a cover sheet in the reader.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have just solved the problem!!

1. In Calibre I Converted the ebooks from Epub to PDF,
2. Deleted the Epub file,
3. Converted back to Epub.

I then deleted the books from my Sony and transferred them again from Calibre.

And they now open!!

I did the same thing to a book that was freezing and locking the reader and that now works fine too.

Epub files need to be in sub-260K sections internally... if the chunks are bigger then you'll get the sort of thing you've had but you don't need to do the pdf intermediate step, just convert from ePub to ePub and calibre will fix it in the process...
