Endnote Renumbering Problem

Hi, I'm having a small problem with endnote renumbering.

I use Word 2007 to create the initial .docx file.

What I'm trying to do is have endnotes restart at '1' at the beginning of each chapter. In my document the chapters are separated by section breaks and in Word everything looks fine - each chapter (or section) restarts the endnotes at '1'. When I convert using Calibre the endnote numbers run consecutively from '1' to 'n' ('n' being the last endnote).

I haven't changed any settings within Caiibre so all conversion options are set at the defaults.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing something simple but it is eluding me and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Attached is a sample .docx file (contained in a .zip file), the corresponding epub generated by Calibre and the Calibre Job Output information in a text file.

Custom footnote/endnote numbering schemes are not supported by the conversion. Adding support for them is rather a lot of work, because of the way they are implemented in docx, so doing so is not a priority for me.
