gifted Kindle books (sent to a friend)

I've sent a couple of books to a friend. Besides the email that is sent to her, will these show up in her Amazon account somewhere? She seems to be having some trouble on the email end, for some reason.

If she clicks on the link provided in the email, it will take her to the book and she will need to accept it. It will then show up in her archives like any book "bought".

So there's no place in the amazon account where it'll show something like gift books that haven't been accepted yet?

I've sent the email multiple times and I have no idea why she's having trouble with it.

The book is in no way attached to her Amazon account until she is able to accept it via the email that she received.

I had a Kindle loan like that. The person never did find her Amazon email.

Maybe set-up a throwaway email account at yahoo or something and try sending it there?

She did eventually find it! Apparently she had a lot of spam to sift through.
