Plugin for epub to epub conversion with "Send to device"
If I understand it correctly, when using "Send to device" to transfer an epub to an epub-compatible reader like the Nook Simple Touch, no conversion is done.
I would like to keep my source epubs untouched, but have an option to do an on-the-fly epub-to-epub conversion when sending to the device. This would allow embedding of the cover that is stored in the source folder into the destination epub on the device while leaving the files in the source directory unmodified. The epub with the embedded cover would only exist on the device. Is there a setting or plugin to do this? Thanks. |

No. You can use the modify epub plugin to alter your original epub and embed the cover of your choice. This process does not change anything else in the file. Or you can do a epub to epub conversion, which by default leaves your original epub untouched except the extension is changed to .original_epub. |
