Sorry, I know that my answers are already in this forum.

What is the best way I can convert PRC files to be read on my PRS505?

Thanks

Calibre will convert PRC files to LRF or ePub which both work on the 505.

Calibre will only convert DRM-free files. If they have DRM (encryption), mobidedrm can be used to remove it. Note that removing DRM isn't legal in some places, and should only be used for format shifting for personal use.
