Error Communicating with new Nook Glowlight Plus

The software works fine with my kindle but has not been able to connect to my new Glowlight Plus.

Pls see this thread: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...=266588&page=8 the author of Calibre has a patch to fix it, but it's only in the git repository for now.

I believe the NGP driver patch has been added to the current version of calibre, which means you should be able to download the current version of calibre without having to compile software.

Sometimes, if a version of calibre has functionality that is severely broken (regressions), a bugfix release will be uploaded, and you can upgrade to that (even though it doesn't generate an upgrade notification in calibre).

I have made sure i have the most recent version of Calibre and OS on the Glowlight Plus but get this and its frustrating me:
calibre, version 2.10.0
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

Failed to upload file named: driveinfo.calibre to (u'Internal storage',): 2:PTP Layer error 2002: send_file_object_info(): Could not send object info.
2:Error 2002: PTP: General Error

Your device is connecting to the computer in PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol) mode, which is bad useless.

You will need to change the settings to connect in MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode.

I don't know where that setting will be in the NGP's menus.
