Hello from Cal Poly

Hi everyone! I am a student at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. A colleague and I are currently writing a senior thesis on e-readers (specifically the Kindle and the iPhone) and how people will read in the future. We were directed to this forum by a professor of ours and it has proven to be extremely helpful.

Hi dbluke and welcome!

Good luck with your thesis, I'm sure you will find many helpful people here who can answer your questions about the Kindle.

Do you have an eink device?

hi dbluke, i'll add my welcome to the previous ones !

that sounds like a very interesting thesis, i'm sure a lot of us would be very interested to know more about it. can you give us a little summary ? just one thing i would say, the kindle and the iphone are both milestones in e-reading device history, but there are many others too which participate in the phenomenon to a non-negligeable degree !

take a look around the forum, don't hesitate to ask any questions, there is plenty to learn around here !
