It is snowing here today. The really big flakes that fall slowly. In December it is really magical to see...not so much in March. Already at least 1cm on the ground.

Snow flurries. Hard to see through, but it's melting on contact on all surfaces except a few pine trees.

It's -21C, -30C with the windchill this morning. And there's another twenty centimeters of snow since Friday.
In other news the 14-day trend says it will be 5C, 7C, and 6C by the end of the fortnight. Which means...FLOODING. |

Same here. Friday night when I went to work the temperature was 55° F and never got any cooler than 53° all night long. It was quite pleasant. Last night it was 39°F with a steady cold mist to help spread the love around and wind chills that were right at freezing.

So, tomorrow into the high 60's F, then back into the drizzly cold damps for the rest of the week!

Mother Nature is that evil step-mother that makes you clean the palace floors with a toothbrush and ammonia.

Winter just does not want to depart the scene here in north Wisconsin. Yesterday we had another 1-2 inches of snow, with 20-25 mph winds, and a high temperature of 20 F. For now the forecast is that by Saturday it will reach a high of 33 F.

The temp were between 4C and 12C, which is not much considering the date. However, there wasn't any drop of rain. Not even a teeny tiny one. I could commute by bicycle without having to take shelter in a bus at one point or another. 24km later I'm knackered, but happy The rain should come back tomorrow, but I'll leave those thoughts to after a good sleep. |
