Migrating from Glo to Aura

Hi all,

I plan to grab an Aura HD today, but I'm not sure how to sideload my epubs without Calibre. Although I expect Calibre to update fairly quickly to support the Aura, it doesn't yet. Is it just a matter of copying the epub folders off of my Kobo and putting them in a similar directory on the Aura? Will this backup my reading progress in each book as well? If not, is that possible?

Thanks!

You can still use Calibre by just connecting to the drive, you won't get shelves, but the Aura picks things up just fine

Good to hear, thanks. I don't really use shelves, so it makes no difference to me.

You will also lose series information and pregenerated covers/thumbnails if you used those options in Calibre. You should be able to send the series information again once you get a Calibre that recognises the Aura, but to get the Calibre-generated covers I think you would need to resend the books.
