Joy of iPad -- Win "iPAD FOR DUMMIES"

Hi All --

Just to let you know that Joy of iPad is having a contest to win autographed copies (from author Bob LeVitus) of the new "iPAD FOR DUMMIES" book. There is no ebook version available as yet so this is the print book (but, then again, it is pretty hard to autograph an ebook)! Our Home Page at http://www.joyofipad.com has details and the contest is going to be held Saturday (6/5) online.

Also, should you need any help on the iPad that doesn't involve ebooks and all the wonderful things Mobileread is tops in the world for please always feel free to drop by for any iPad-specific help such as converting videos, keyboard shortcuts, and all else. Thanks!

sad that they don't have a digital version of this book available. would be great on the ipad wouldn't ya think?

Yeah - especially the digital version of "iPad: The Missing Manual" is now available at O'Reilly.

Yeah, Bob says he's not really in the loop as to when it will be ebook available but he suspects it will be. I am betting that Wiley hasn't released many such titles yet as being four-color production throughout right now there are not many handhelds other than iPad to display it. This being about the iPad I am personally going to bet it does show up in the iBookstore relatively soon. We will see!
