PocketBook Ultra 650
I have just created a page in our wiki for the PocketBook Ultra. Looks like a state of the art 6" device with an E Ink Carta screen and a built-in camera you can use for pictures or to create a book using the built-in OCR software. An interesting variation on an eBook Reader.

In theory, yes.
Unfortunately, PocketBook currently has some problems with both software and hardware. |

These problem are (besides the fact that the name 650 has already been taken for the Sony Reader PRS-650 so anyone who refers to it cannot refer to it as a 650 and must think of something else)?

Yes, because we're all too stupid to tell the difference between a device released in 2011 and one from a different company which was released in 2014.

I emailed the company and asked about purchasing it in the US, and was told I would have to buy it through their French website.
http://boutique.pocketbook.fr/index.php?id_lang=3 I believe the price works out to around $200 before shipping. |

You can always check Amazon (marketplace) after a bit. I bought my Pocketbook 623 that way, and didn't have to deal with making out-of-country purchases.
