Hyperlinks

Are hyperlinks preserved when converting between formates in calibre. I have mobi, epub and kepub books on my ipod. None have hyperlinks in them, but I would like to replace some books that have extensive footnotes once I get an ereader.

I am leaning towards a kindle right now, because Kobo Touch lacks a few features I wanted. I like to buy for what the device has now not for future updates. Besides my wife suggested I just get the kindle now, so she can see how she likes reading on an ereading. With the option of me upgrading if she likes it.

well the easy way to determine that would be to download calibre, grab a file and give it a shot

I'm sorry. I got calibre converting all my files and getting them working on the Kobo, which doesn't do hyperlinks. I didn't think to use calibre to read the books and check it out.

Yes, hyperlinks are preserved when converting between Mobi and ePub.
