Eh. As long as Oprah's honestly recommending books/authors she's read and liked (as opposed to being paid to give out that all-important Oprah book club sticker), I fail to see what the big deal is.

These things tend to be commercial deals. It would be nice to think that these are her favourite books, but the cynic in me suspects otherwise.
