Since mines scheduled to arrive either late tomorrow (unlikely) or Friday (pretty definite) it's not a big issue for me now. However in the spirit of encouraging a more global approach to product launches, I'm from Europe and I want one.

Yeah it was a bit daft of Sony. If you look at the original press stories that came out about the reader, they were published willy nilly all over the place including the BBC and Sony did nothing to counteract the impression that this was going to be a worldwide device.

It's a bit misleading that in this graph 0 x 2 = 1
Can't zero be, say, 1 pixel wide or not appear at all?

Err.......yes, exactly. Um, anyone got any clues what this means?

I live in Kyrgyzstan (tho' I'm British) so I'll add my own 'I'm from Central Asia and I want to buy the Sony Reader'

(having said that, i have just persuaded a friend to buy it in the States and send it to me, so I'm hoping pretty soon my wish will come true...)

I think mikolaj was commenting on the poll presentation. Indeed, the visuals may be misleading since a even for a zero vote we see a small bit of a bar.

They're not going to take that poll seriously -- anyone who votes, votes for buying it...
