Register new kindle 3 in USA /use in Egypt ?
Hi. I've ordered a new Kindle 3 to a USA address, but I'm an American currently living in Egypt and will be using the Kindle 3 here in Egypt. Should I register the Kindle in USA or wait to open it in Egypt? I've very new to this - my first e-reader! Thanks!!

Welcome to MR! Not sure this helps, but my Kindles came pre-registered to my Amazon account. Logic tells me that it wouldn't matter much where I am in the world, since my K's are "international versions". I could be wrong. You'll probably find a viable answer to this on the Kindle forum here :-).
