Curious Quirk- Cursed epub or bug?

Discovered a curious quirk on my Kobo. (I`m running v 1.4)

I have an epub that always locks up my Kobo when the unit powers down. The book is on the main memory of the reader and not the SD card. If the book is open when it goes to sleep it always locks up the machine requiring a paperclip restart. Same thing happens if the book is open and I try to power the machine off by holding the power button down three seconds. Happens every time- the activity icon appears in the upper right hand corner and then freezes requiring a reset.

If the book is closed (i.e. if I switch to another book before letting it sleep or turning it off) then the Kobo powers down normally. No other epub (no even ones bought from the same publisher) makes the Kobo lock up like that.

Anyone else discovered a book that cause the Kobo to behave strangely?

I had a bad epub which would prevent the machine from starting (after it was added) but never one that prevented shutdown. I thought the kobo scanned epubs when it started up after it was recharged, thus it should have been a problem then.

Which book is this? Can anybody buy it? Is it DRM encumbered?

I'm sure the Kobo people would like to know about this book.
