Never heard the expression before. Thanks for the explanation. Remember that this is a world-wide board, and most of these expressions are "country specific".

oh crap, you're in the UK. My apologies! It's primarily used by surfers and skiers (of which I am neither!) Leave it to the Yanks to muck up the English language...lol

My best guess would be the new ones. I doubt they are producing the old ones and probably need to keep them on-hand anyway as replacements for defective units.

Why else would they have seemingly stopped production?
