arg ! non-multiple choice polls are my kryptonite !! the indecision, it is killing me !! luckily i'm not actually afraid of most of those things. but still !!!
(congratulations on reaching the big one three zeroes ! ("zeros" ?? hm, neither one of those look right to me right now. i think i need a nap. why can't we vote for "fear of not being able to take a nap" ???) |

I had to choose "Other", too! I just couldn't decide which to pick and then started stressing about why I couldn't decide and then I was afraid I would never be able to make a decision ever again and if I can make a decision in this pole how am I ever going to decide what to cook for dinner tomorrow night which seems to be my family's biggest concern with regards to me and if I can't decide what to cook for dinner how can I decide what to buy at the grocery store and if I can't decide what to buy at the grocery store I won't be able to make any purchases and if I can't make any purchases I'll plunge my country right back in the middle of the worst recession in history.
Okay. . .maybe I need to breathe once in a while. |

I voted Keelhaul, but I love the keelhauler. Although now that I'm thinking about it, Adrian would've got my vote! :shiver: |

I chose "seriously thoughtful topics", because they often get political, and nothing detracts from the lovely landscape of the wonderful world of MobileRead than a political knife fight. Although I admit that against my better judgment I joined a couple of those discussions. I always regretted it.
I have ready now a quick response for those topics: Donnageddon has an extremely strong opinion on {insert political topic here} but he only shares those opinions on political blogs where he has no pang of guilt for jumping down the throat of the numbskull {insert political opponent here} and pulling our their appendix. BTW Happy 1000th post GracieK!!! Great job!
Have a nice day Last edited by Donnageddon; 08-26-2009 at 11:45 PM. |

Thank you all for the well wishes about my 1000th post! Quote:
I *almost* put that there, just for you. Quote:
Did something else change about this thread too? I peeked at it on my blackberry this morning, and it just doesn't look the same, somehow.... must be old age, now that I'm in my thousands.... |

OMG I missed that - although it's even in the thread title ! Apparently I got too distracted with hunting evil, evil avatar thieves. Congrats to you, GraceKrispy!

My answer would be "boredom" but there's no such thing in the lounge, you know with that thieving dog crusade going on. It's like finding Fred all over again.

I had an infestation of imaginary Freds a while back. Little suckers are devils to get out of the carpeting...
