Entourage closes, Amazon says Android tablet in 2011. Hmmmm...

  1. Amazon has the best-selling e-book device: the Kindle.
  2. One of Kindle's major competitors is the NookColor, an Android tablet that is also an e-book reader, but serious readers prefer e-ink over LCD.
  3. Amazon gets rid of all evidence of the Entourage devices, an e-book reader on one side, an Android tablet on the other. It comes in both 7" and 10" models
  4. Entourage closes its storefront within a week of Amazon removing the device from their own web site.
  5. Amazon tells PCMag that a tablet device is coming in 2011. http://tinyurl.com/3ktvhvj
  6. Engadget's insider says it could come in both 7" and 10" models. http://tinyurl.com/4y7gohh
Let's not for get that Woot (an Amazon-owned company) sold off most of the last stock of the PEs.

Not saying you're wrong, but the 7" and 10" models don't mean much; screens come in only a few sizes, and all from the same manufacturers.

Also, other retailers than Amazon have been removing Entourage devices - the things are simply being sold out (or disposed of via Woot).

As far as I know, Amazon almost never removes actual page and reference to the product IF it is simply sold out - after all "It is the biggest selection on Earth". There are companies and individual people who sell used units, books, CDs under the same product page on Amazon, I used to do it several years ago. You will still see product page if it is sold out, only it says "Currently Unavailable" and/or "available from those sellers". In case of Entourage the whole product pages disappeared... Fishy...

Did you know that if the Lincoln Memorial had been built before 1865, on the night of Lincoln's assassination his statue's head would have been facing directly toward the largest Solar System object named after a god of the underworld?

That's what everybody always says. It's not true though - remember that Saturn = Chronos who, as a chthonic deity, might bid fair to be called a god of the underworld.

Incidentally, I once saw a Greek diner in Brooklyn called "Chronos Diner." I don't know what they served, but Chronos ate his children.

You forgot an important factual consideration:

7. The world did not end on May 21.
