Hi and what is the Karma button for?

Hi,

I'm Reg and I live in Australia, just signed up to the forum (obviously), it looks like a great place!

Just waiting on the delivery of a Kobo for my first e-reading experience.

I have noticed the Karma button and was wondering what it is for? Is it good karma?

You can give karma to a post that you like or appreciate. Someone with better MR skills than I will probably post a link to the post about how karma works.

Sneaky gave you a great link there that should help with your question. When someone does give you karma then you will be able to see who sent it by looking in the User CP (control panel).

Good to have your company, Reg. The karma button is there to applaud a well considered post or an interesting question. You start with ten points just for taking the trouble to join and say 'hello'. The more posts a member has to his name, the more karma s/he can award... so here's some to you for asking. Very best wishes. Neil
