PRS-350 vs 650, one handed use

I lost my PRS-505 on a plane last week. Kindle is not really a candidate for me, have no need for keyboard and got spoiled by the solid Sony construction. Naturally I'm looking for the replacement in form of PRS-650.
I went to the SonyStyle store last night, got to play with PRS-650 and 350. Surprisingly, 350 felt much better in a hand than 650. I have large hands and 650 slightly too big to hold in one hand to be able to swipe with the thumb. One has to use hold the reader in one hand propped up and use an index finger to swipe. 350 on the other hand allows very easy and comfortable hold in one hand while using a thumb to swipe, and the weight is perfect for one handed use, too. The advantage was that even if more swipes are required to read because of the smaller screen, they are accomplished so much easier. So, while I was so sure that 650 would be my ideal reader, now I'm more inclined to 350.
Anybody had the same experience? I know PRS-300 was bigger than the upcoming PRS-350, but do you any of you find an easy one-handed time with it? For those who had both PRS-300 and 600, do you find that you hold them differently? Which one is easier?
Thanks for your input!

My original eReader was the Sony 505. Got the 600 because I really liked all of the touch screen stuff... but after awhile I found it irritating to read on under most lighting conditions. On a lark I got the 300 to play with, intending to return it, but found myself using it exclusively.

Comparing, side by side, a six inch to a five inch screen the 6 inch seems better, but when you do a lot of reading I really prefer the 5 inch form factor. It's so much lighter and easier to handle, especially one-handed.

Now the 350 combines the best of both worlds, and is even smaller and lighter! In addition you can create categories right on the reader. So you can for instance create a "Reading" list for books that you are currently reading and move it to a "Finished" list when done.

Again it feels incredibly nice and light in your hand. It takes just a 1/4 inch swipe to turn a page using almost no pressure. Can't wait to get mine...

I can use the 600 just fine one-handed, swiping with my thumb.

For me I hold the PRS-600 by the bottom left corner in my left hand and use my thumb on the button to flip pages. But quite often I just use the kickstand on my Tuff-Luv case and just touch it when I need to flip pages. Tuff-Luv told me they'd have a cover for the PRS-650 in about a month or so.

I'm finding the glare is really annoying so I'm buying the PRS-650.
