Hey guys,
I'm quite new here. Yesterday I've got my new M92 and I really want to use RSS for daily news reading. But unfortunately anytime if I type the RSS-adress (e.x. feed://www.taz.de/!p3270;rss/) the M92 doesn't download feeds. After i read this thread I think you know how to configurate correctly. Hope you can help me.
Thanks a lot. Elia11

Something you could use (although not on the M92 itself) is a free software called calibre. It is able to gather news from many websites and compile them into a pdf. One of the features I like most is that you have many built-in "recipes" (pieces of code to aggregate news) that you can easily adapt to your purpose. I had the same problem as you, calibre solved it for me.

I read RSS every day no my ereader.
I tried everything to get RSS app on Boox running- but I failed.
I now use my Kindle 3 with Kindle4Rss and Klip.me - much easier and very fast

I don't sync to google reader. Some rss feeds don't work at all. Sometimes device freezes (even if the feeds are working).

The trick is to play with the stick up and down or charge the M92 while updating feeds.
If you have a wlan-router look at the lamps.
When updating feeds M92 just does nothing until you make an input or charge it.
Maybe its some kind of power-save state.

I know it sounds crazy. But try it.

Another hint: Never exit rss reader on back button. Even if it closes the app the device is not working properly (slow, hangs,...) till new restart.
Always klick on the button in top left corner.
Thanks for the tip. After I connect my device to the power charger, the rss updated well.

The guy wrote the reader app for Boox A60. I formerly used it for M90 but I forgot about it.

Now i tried on M92. It works!
http://www.flashsystems.de/software/newsflash

How to get it working with M92?
1)Follow instructions on page
2) firt open web browser to get wifi connection
3) open Newsflash.oar
4) Update feeds - select wifi
5) dialog shows cannot start wifi connection
6) just close and it will start downloading feeds

-----
Issues:
wifi does not start automatically
prefer using hardware buttons (there is only home button) and stylus for navigating
i tried with 15 extensive feeds (internal limited to <10) and it stopped downloading somwhere - then I could only restart
----

why is it better than internal rss reader?
it does what I say (close, update, ...)
aggregated feeds look much nicer (though very big letters)
-----

I love reading rss feeds - and thats the only reason I keep my Kindle 3 (sendToKindle)
the M92 has much more potential in this respect

I don't have much time but I will try to compile the source code against M92 SDK, maybe something will happen
