The 'basic support only' is on 5.4.2/5.4.2.1 (which, granted, will probably extend to 5.4.3 & 5.4.4 if CM ever support these at all) . |

Ok, thank you, I guess I misread that post, I thought it was saying basic support for anything 5.4.2 and higher. But oh well, back to manual corrections it is then.

Is there an easy way to get them visible again without reloading everything? Edit: Fixed the issue. I edited /var/local/cc.db and updated the Entries table. I set p_isVisibleInHome=1 on any books that weren't showing up. Last edited by Ephemerality; 03-20-2014 at 12:56 PM. |

I have an original version 1 Paperwhite with Firmware version 5.4.4 Jailbroken . I have installed Collections Manager but I don't think it's working. Should it work on my setup.

@Wrongway: Nope. Current CM releases don't handle FW 5.4.4.

Hello there.
Is there any support planned for FW 5.4.3 or 5.4.4? Unfortunately my PW2 is on FW 5.4.3 and can't use the "Collections Manager". Or is there an easy way to downgrade? Since I don't want to add my Calibre Collections manually... - or can I use the Calibre plugin to export my Collections to the PW2 without the CM? |

No you cannot use the plugin without CM. The plugin will export to the Kindle only in a way that allows CM to import into the collections configuration data.
There is an easy bundle to allow the 5.4.2.1 update to apply (since Amazon now tries to block downgrades) but I forget where, plus I'm typing this on my Kindle , so I can't post a link. If no one else does by the time I get to the computer, I will find and post it. Last edited by eschwartz; 04-07-2014 at 10:54 AM. Reason: typos from using the kindle e-ink browser. :o |

Use the zip attached here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...4&postcount=23
Extract to the root of your Kindle Drive. There are two items -- A folder called "update", and a file called "Update_oldupdate_install.bin" Put the desired update, err, "downdate" into the folder "update". Update your Kindle manually, from: Menu ==> Settings ==> Menu ==> Update Your Kindle |

Thank you very much eschwartz - all the rest via PM...
But can anyone tell, if there's going to be an update for the Collections Manager sooner or later? |

Ixtab recently completed his PhD requirements, so he is probably out looking for either a real job, or a post-doc fellowship with Lab126 Java obfuscation department.
