Actually, this is what happened...

The writers for FireFly made a script for the show, which Fox turned down, and they gave the go for a 3rd season of Dark Angel. Then, they re-wrote the script for FireFly, showed it again to Fox, which this time approved and cancelled Dark Angel...

I just kept hoping that it would come back. I had so many questions

. I hate networks!

I remember, when I was a kid, that "seasons" lasted the school year with reruns during the summer and Christmas. You always knew what day, what time, and what was on. I drives me crazy now, never knowing what is on when or which program will start now and which will start two weeks later. I just don't watch much anymore.

Ditto. I set most programs to auto record. And I do a quick check most saturdays for anything that I might not have autorecording or for movies I might want to see the next week. The only thing I watch live is CNBC. I can't imagine life without freevo again.

I don't watch anything live anymore. can't tolerate the commercials now I'm spoiled!

We are currently watching the Olympics, but weʻre watching live (and recording)(well, itʻs live on my TV, but itʻs delayed from the real time), so I went to my tivo list and Iʻm watching the old Project Runway *again*, giving the TIVO a chance to record more Olympics just so I can fast forward commercials when I go back to the "live" view. Yes, thatʻs how bad my commercial avoidance is! Iʻd rather watch a show I already watched than watch the commercials

We were really enjoying Jericho, when they pulled the plug. Someone mentioned "Journeyman". I liked that one too.
And Life, was one we were really disappointed that they cancelled.
We really like "Chuck" and I thought it was a goner, but they decided to keep it going. I just LOVE the NerdHerd!

Love my DVR as well!!! A lot of what I like to watch the rest of the family doesn't get into so I end up watching later at night when they're in bed. At least I get all the chips to myself then

Yes, that was very good as well. The 2nd season ended at this dramatic climax and poof... now we will never know how things turned out.

ER. Got cancelled after four years of fantastic, nearly real drama in an emergency room. It was replaced with a sucky, wring your hands and whine soap opera. I guess I should be happy for many of the actors from ER that they were able to find employment with the new show, however...

I liked Journeyman but felt it left on a reasonably high note. I could imagine new series getting repetitive very quickly.

Jericho and Firefly - pity they were cancelled.
