Facebook?

I downloaded the Facebook app and I don't remember from where. I have a few questions.

When I open the app it works but at the top it always says there is an update available. When I click it nothing happens.
Will it notify me of activity if the app is closed?

I think that is all I have. Thanks -Micky

1. Ignore it - a newer version might not work if you do manage to download it.

2. I very much doubt it.
