Possible eBay scam?
http://cgi.ebay.com/AMAZON-KINDLE-2-...ht_3630wt_1167
This guy is claiming to sell new Kindle 2's with the wireless suspended for $180. I have never heard of such a thing. He has good feedback, but I can't help but be nervous that they fell off the back of a truck or something. Should I be? Has anyone heard of anything like this? If this is a scam or potentially stolen devices, should it be reported? |

Someone else posted about this a couple of days ago. Let me see if I can find the thread.
Here's the link to the other thread. You may want to contact that poster to find out what the final results were. Last edited by daffy4u; 12-10-2009 at 10:02 AM. |

That ebay price looks a little too good to be true! However the comments from buyers are mostly positive, so you it's hard to say..

Kindles being targeted in a large quantity theft is a sort of a compliment, don't you think? The thieves believe that they will be able to "move" a large number of hot devices. A less popular item would not be worth that much trouble.
