A Fantasy Machine
Most people with enough imagination to read fiction have dreamed of owning a time machine to visit their favourite time in history.
But how about a fantasy machine? See the old West with Gus McRae from "Lonesome Dove", the great campaigns of the Victorian era with Harry Flashman. Even join the Fellowship of the Ring! A bit far fetched? Maybe for some. Where would you go, and with who? |

I think first up would have to be a visit to the London of Raffles & Bunny; Holmes & Watson - with them as guides. Perhaps invite all four to a dinner party...

Isaac Asimov's I, Robot worlds sounds interesting. How cool it would be, to be a shrink for robots Like, waving a clock upon their face and chanting: "Your eyes starts feeling heavier and heavier. Soon you will fell a sleep"

Helen of Troy, naked. Was she worth launching a 1000 ships, or was she a floozie who could only hold your attention for 5 minutes?
Lady Macbeth. Kate Minola. Juliet. Ophelia. Cordelia. Any of Shakespeare's ladies in their time and place. |
