Lending an eBook?

Can I share a book bought at Connect with another eBook owner?

Only if they have a Reader, and it's authorized to the same account as yours.

Stick to the classics at pg. They are worth more than everything at connect.

If you like reading only classics, sure.

I don't think your friend needs the Reader.
I think he/she can install the Sony Connect software which is now downloadable from the SONY website.
Then you can authorize their computer with your Connect store account.
And then maybe you can somehow get the file unto their machine...
Good luck, let us know if you succeed!

That would, indeed work, sic -- in fact, once their PC is authorized on the account, they can re-download the book directly from the ConnStore, no fuss no muss. If Bob A does the downloading himself, he wouldn't even have to give his friend the password. Of course, at that point, he could just e-mail the encrypted file to his friend who could just dump it into the ConnSoft directly, and problem solved.
