I want to transtate kindle interface to spanish
Kindle is a amazing device, but in spain (especially old people) some people don't buy it because the non-translated interface, can I translate it to spanish and is possible to make and translated update for spanish people? Now i'm using 3.1 firmware.

Translation of Menus, Dialogs, Messages ets
Do you have full list of all the texts, dialogs, messages etc for the Kindle 3?
If you have it, I could help to prepare an Excel file and with the help of other people translate it to many different languages.

Localization source code moved from GitHub to Google code. Th new localization home is:

You can find new Spain and Hungarian localizations in loc_es and loc_hu folders.

Hi There!
Just downloaded you branch from GitHub this morning and started the german translation (half way through so... excluding those nasty images).

I've read that someone wanted to do that translation, but i think he dissapeared

Will go on on sunday, maybe getting that thing ready... how do i contribute this to your new google code hub when i'm ready with it?

/Update: So i've crawled through the textfiles for the first time, looks good but some phrases don't make sense anymore when im reading it on the kinlde xD Will release the first Version when worked that over (and deleted some mistakes xD).

The images will come with the Second release, if not anybode else will do those in the meantime
