SD card not working after pocketbook701 upgrade

I just upgraded to 2.06 on the Pocketbook 701 and after the upgrade it is not reading the data on my SD card. Do I have to reformat the card?

shouldnt' have to...............2.06 is quite stable. Try rebooting. If that doesn't work hit factory reset.

After turning it off and on several times, I finally was able to see my books on my SD card again.

Then upgraded to 2.1

Like it much better!

Installing 2.0.6 was a breeze - long-ish but no problem. I find the PB701 is more fun than it was, and I have fewer problems with it. I see that others have said that 2.0.6 is a very stable platform and I agree. I tried to install 2.1.2 but the little gremlin gets only half-way out of his box and the progress bar stops at about 40% Is 2.1.2 worth installing, and if so, what am I doing wrong? (I'm not exactly a newbie, but I'm not a tech wizard either)

I didn't try installing 2.1.2, I got the 2.1.1 off the official pocketbook-usa website.

2.1.1 is awesome...exactly what I always hoped my pocketbook iq would be. I did have to try installation twice, stalled on the first time, but the 2nd worked fine. No problems at all! In fact the wifi is very poor in my apartment (my landlord told me to use his, free internet with rent) and it works better on my pocketbook than my laptop many times.

Also, the sleep mode actually works! And I LOVE the new home page.

I don't think 2.1.1 is worth it at all. Too many problems. Not a stable as 2.06 plus you loose the TTS funtion. All it really seems to be is a fancier launcher. I use Launcher Pro + and have from the beginning.
Right now I have 2.1.1 Installed and playing with it. But I'm going back to 2.06 when I get the time to set it all up again.

I had a hart time after downgrading, nothing worked as before, 2.0.6 became buggy and unstable. Don't know why, but flashing a Dealerupdate FW fixed it and therafter upgrading back to 2.0.6 was no prob at all.
So if you make the same experience contact PB for this FW (it's 2.0.3from last year)

here are all the original FW updates ( but NOT 2.1.1 ) in case anyone needs them. Hopefully I did the attachments correctly. The file without a 2.* is the original factory file before any updates.

Most of the FW updates exceed 20MB allowed for RAR/ZIP files, so you have to get permission from MR or mod,don't know who exactly
